The warm and atmospheric restaurant Taiga offers tasty ski meals, delicious lunch, fun after ski and night-time entertainment. Restaurant Taiga is located at the Ylläsjärvi ski resort in the Taiga main building. Taiga Pub serves a changing selection of beers, grilled delicacies and street food. On some nights, Taiga has live music that livens up the night at the fell. In the spring season, Taiga offers the popular Taiga Kitchen event, stand-up gigs and live performances for all age groups. Taiga is open in the summer and winter seasons.

The windows of Y1 food garden overlook stunning views of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Y1 food garden is a spacious and airy restaurant that has something for everyone. Including a pizza buffet, home-style meals and a children’s play area. The Cafe-Bar serves specialty coffees, stewed tea and other hot and cold beverages.

This is the restaurant that opens first and closes last. The warm, pub-like restaurant is the perfect place for relaxing by the fire while on the slopes. Live gigs during the season.

Restaurant BistroHissi is located at the base of the slopes at Ylläsjärvi. Leave your skis on the rack and head for lunch at the bistro! The bistro serves high-quality, delicious food and, of course, warm and cold drinks. The bistro has a cosy fireplace where you can warm yourself while enjoying, for example, a cup of hot chocolate!

Ylläskammi 718
The atmospheric Ylläskammi at the top of the Ylläs fell is the restaurant with the highest location in Finland. Ylläskammi serves hot chocolate, freshly baked doughnuts and a variety of dishes from soups to chicken skewers. The restaurant is open daily whenever the Huippu lift or the gondola lift is open. Kammi is easy to reach also without skis with the gondola tour ticket.

Gondol restaurant
During the high season, there are two restaurants at the top of the fell: YlläsKammi and Gondol restaurant. Gondol restaurant is open in the spring, whenever the gondola lift is open. Restaurant is located at the gondola top station, and its large windows overlook the village of Ylläsjärvi.

Next to the Gondola bottom station, you can find the Ski Pub Ala-asema! Here you can enjoy billiards, darts and karaoke. You can also get drinks and snacks from the pub!

Cafe Lippuluukku
The quaint Café Lippuluukku serves soup lunch and sweet and savoury pastries. Its menu also includes a selection of juices and hot chocolate! As its Finnish name suggests, Café Lippuluukku (“Ticket Booth”) is located in the old ticket office of Ylläsjärvi.

Aurinko
Restaurant Aurinko is located in Ylläsjärvi, near the treeline on the Aurinko slope. The spacious terrace of Aurinko welcomes skiers to enjoy the spring sun. Aurinko serves fast food, tasty snacks and a vast selection of drinks.

Jokeri
The legendary Jokeri pub that is loved by many ski resort regulars is located at the base of the ruggedly handsome Varkaankuru, right next to the Jokeri lift substation. Jokeri is a cosy place for a break in the heart of winter, and on sunny spring days, many skiers find themselves enjoying a glass or two on the sunny terrace!
