Y1 Ski Rental – Equipment rental and service in Äkäslompolo
The rental shop is located at the Äkäslompolo ski resort, on the ground floor of the Y1 service building. The ticket office, Ski Shop and equipment service centre are located in the same building.
Our professional and dedicated staff help you find just the equipment you need. We have equipment for alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark and freeriding for all skills levels. We also rent snow shoes, fastshoes and pulks.
You can also select and rent the equipment in advance online. This means you can pick up your customised and serviced equipment immediately after your arrival.

Y1 Service Centre
The service centre is located at the Äkäslompolo ski resort, on the ground floor of the Y1 service building. The ticket office, Ski Shop and equipment rental shop are located in the same building.
Y1 Service Centre guarantees optimal equipment and enjoyable time on the slopes. During the high season, your equipment will be serviced by the following morning. In other seasons, we serve based on separate agreement. Please agree on the service at the service centre or by contacting us in advance.

Opening hours
Y1 Ski Rental opens 30 minutes before the lifts and closes 15 minutes after the lifts, excl. the spring period when first lifts are starting already at 9 – during that period Y1 Rental opens 15 minutes before the lifts. See the lift opening hours here.
