Ylläs 70th Anniversary Programme
Photo above: Seats and even a bar counter were built out of snow on a sheltered slope. No one had the energy to keep climbing back up the slope all the time, so this sheltered spot became a place to socialise and enjoy snacks. In spring, the snow bar was known as Riviera.

1 September 2026 – Season Pass Presales Begin
In addition to our regular ticket products, we are introducing a special anniversary offer: a 70th Anniversary Season Pass for everyone aged 70 or over, for just €70!
The special anniversary season pass is available exclusively at the ticket office. Please present a valid ID when purchasing the pass. Click here to see details.
4–6 December 2026 – Ylläs Winter Season Opening
The winter season opening will feature Ylläs 70th Anniversary celebrations on both sides of the fell, including anniversary cake!
More details will be announced later.
14 February 2027 – Anniversary Cake at the Ticket Offices
Anniversary cake will be served to the first 100 customers on both sides of the fell.
