6.-8.12.2024 Season opening!
The opening of the winter season is celebrated on Independence Day weekend on both sides of the fell! The program will be updated closer to the event!
6.12. The program includes ticket collection in Ylläsjärvi in the morning at around 9.45am. Glög and gingerbread are available. In cooperation with Protect Our Winters, a joint ascent (i.e. skinning race) in Äkäslompolo and a joint descent in Ylläsjärvi.
7.12. TCX organizes events and near the lower station of the Vekkulihissi there is an event area where you can find hot drinks, as well as points from various companies. In the evening, Ski Pub Ala-Asema has program.
8.12. Mini-sesars for children and other fun programs for the whole family.
Among others, POW, TCX, and several companies in the region participated in the opening.
