Ski Resort Services and Opening Hours During Strike on March 3–4, 2025
Lifts, Ticket Sales, and Equipment Rentals are open from 10 AM to 7 PM.
The strike may affect the number of services, lifts and slopes available and the evening skiing hours.
You can check the daily lift and slope opening hours from 10 AM onwards from this link.
The possible changes to the opening hours of additional services will be updated to this page.
You may experience some queues at the ticket sales point. We recommend purchasing lift tickets online: https://yllas.skiperformance.com.
-Tickets recharged to your own keycard in the online store work directly at lift gates.
-Tickets purchased with a new keycard can be picked up from the ticket machines.
Ylläs Ski Resort, Ylläsjärvi:
- Lifts open from 10 AM to 7 PM, the strike may affect the number of lifts and slopes available
- Ticket sales from 9:45 AM to 7 PM, possible queues due to the strike
- Ticket machines available in the ticket office lobby
- Ski School operates normally
- Hill Ski Rent open normally
- Saaga Ski Rental closed on strike days
Ylläs Ski Resort, Äkäslompolo
- Lifts open from 10 AM to 7 PM, the strike may affect the number of lifts and slopes available
- Ticket sales from 9:45 AM to 7 PM, possible queues due to the strike

Lapland Hotels Äkäshotelli, Äkäsentie 10, Äkäslompolo
Lapland Hotels Ylläskaltio, Sivulantie 7, Äkäslompolo - Ski School is closed on 3-4th of March due the strike. Open again normally from 5th of March. (Updated 2dn of March.)
- Y1 Equipment rental is open from 9:45 AM to 7:00 PM, the strike may cause occasional congestion
- You can book and pay for your equipment in advance from the online store here. The pick-up point is located at the main rental shop on the Äkäslompolo side. The pick-up point on the Ylläsjärvi side, Saaga Ski Rental, is closed on strike days.
